First offical Club meeting notes.

—Well I just got back from the Pied Piper where the first official meeting of the Eureka Springs Astronomical Society occurred. Although only one other person showed up, we had some very deep conversations. Topics included Galileo, dark matter and of course telescopes.

—We have tentatively planned for this coming Friday night as our first official star watching meeting. DeadGekko is going to get his dob cleaned up and culminated, and hopefully mine will have arrived by then. We both have good viewing areas near our houses and plan on rotating back and forth on star viewing locations.

—I would like to thank everyone in the Astronomy community that has put forth effort to help us get this club up and going.  Twitter has helped make this possible and special thanks to my Twitter friends. I look forward to many starry nights ahead and hope to be able to share our experiences with everyone.
